Generous Finance Company Willing to Triple My House Payment

Advanced Financial Services, Inc. is delighted to inform me that I have been pre-approved for a loan up to $271,050, or up to $625,000, depending on which page I read.  They probably can’t decide how much to lend me until they know my native language.  It’s Latin.

I’ve kept control of finances and don’t spend beyond my means.  Because of the economic meltdown, I feel I’ve missed my opportunity to spend wildly out of control.  Excluding my mortgage, I have no outstanding debt, but thanks to AFS’s offer, I can have a huge debt load now.  I can spend thousands more than I make and live far beyond my means.  I’m can pretend I’m a bailed out CEO that screws his employees.  Only in my case, I’ll lay-off family members.

“Mom.  Dad.  I’m going to have to let one of you go.”

According to AFS, I can “buy a new car, RV, boat or clothes … there are no restrictions.”  Finally, no restrictions.  I can purchase:  an elephant, Cuban cigars and an Amish family.  If I can’t purchase these things, I will sue for breach of contact because AFS guaranteed there were no restrictions.

The most incredible part of this offer is that if I take on this huge debt, I can triple my house payment, or quadruple it, depending on which page I read.  This is better than Cash 4 Gold, which hired MC Hammer and Ed McMahon as their spokespersons.  If you take financial advice from those two, you deserve to be in debt.

Thank you AFS for keeping the belief alive that borrowing more is always the solution.

Most of your posts are funny, but this one had me rolling in the floor laughing, until I realized how much of our children and grandchildren’s money is currently being wasted so that people can do exactly that

I just received one of these letters in the mail…trying to do a little research on the company. I think I’m going to end the search with this website!

There are no restrictions. You might want to reconsider and buy that Llama farm you’ve always wanted.

LOL. I don’t think that you actually have to borrow the amounts mentioned on the letter or even make purchases. I think they were just suggesting that you could borrow up to a certain amount depending on what you canafford.

Hi Irritated Tulsan! You may have posted the information on AFS as comic relief but my experience was anything but! I received a letter similar to yours. I was PRE-APPROVED totally as long as what is in my credit report is true…and it is – for much, much more than I need or want. I received the letter from David Noyce, the President, as you did….HOWEVER when I called they ran me through a few quick questions and let me know right away that they don’t finance Moduar homes…if they are so good as to pre-approve me and have been in my credit report…WHY didn’t they know that I own a modular home? The girl was rude and connected me to their ads on hold and just left me – permanently. This all happened afer I spent TWO DAYS updating our budget, putting balances, account numbers etc because we are just before financially drowning and a consolidation loan could have saved us. I guess it is funny in a way after all. Hey! YOU are pre-approved…your worries are over and you can combine the car, credit cards and mortgage into one lower bill….here is your lifesaver…and when you swim over to reach it…they just pull it back in. Yep, I can see the humor in that. The company I worked for over 12 years has gone bankrupt – now I can barely pay the bills (as long as there is no emergency…we may be ok). So far as AFS – my opinion is that if you throw enough crap up against a wall some of it will stick and they are throwing everything they can lay their hands on. Sincerely, Trisha

We were approved for a loan, all we had to do was get the appraisal and paper work done and that was it. This Joe V said this all we need and we will have x amount of dollars in our pocket. Having spent $400 on an appraisal and doing tons of paper work, they tell me the loan did not go threw. I asked this guy what the hell happened and he said something showed up on my credit report and sorry, next time. Tell you what there will not be a next time with these guys. They lie to you, they do NOT return phone calls, they take off for vacation during this process. I would not recommend this company for anything!!!!!!!! I could go on and on with this company but I don’t have all day. Be warned!!!
