Mr. M Comes to Tulsa
While I’m stuck here in 1979, a 70s icon has moved to Tulsa, Mr. M. If you’re unfamiliar with his work, he’s one of The Letter People. Normally he spends his day munching morning to midnight, midnight to morning, Munchy Mouth, but not today. Today he’s Mr. M., tourist. See his adventure after the jump.
• Here is Mr. M standing in front of the “Welcome to Downtown Tulsa” sign.
• Poor Mr. M. He wants to read the visitor information sign, but he can’t reach.
• Mr. M wanted to eat at his favorite restaurant, Billy’s on the Square. Unfortunately, it was closed. All he wanted was meatballs, macaroni, mashed potatoes, marshmallow, maple syrup, melon and milk.
• At the BOK Center, Mr. M noticed it was quite dirty.
• Mr. M wonders if he can sing at the Greenwood Jazz Festival.
• Uh-Oh. Mr. M saw a cat. He’s been popped before.
That’s all for now.

I remember Mr. M from my kindergarten class in Sand Springs in 1982. (Sigh….) He was my favorite.
Is poor little Mr. M living under that bridge?
It’s not quite a cardboard cut out, but it will work.
