Mattatarian’s Food Offering of the Week (Nutty Buddy Edition)

When Oklahoma temperatures hit the 90s, a cold beverage, fruit or ice cream is what many of us crave. On this day, I craved ice cream. This ice cream cone is not made by QuikTrip, but it is sold by QT. It satisfiiiiiiiiied. From the first bite of nuts at top of the cone to the chunk of chocolate at the bottom, it fulfilled the craving. Summer and ice cream. A perfect match.

I actually had to rush out & get one for myself. I’m blaming this blood sugar spike on YOU!! (but it was soooooooooo worth it)
I will never forget my Camp Fire field trip to a dairy farm when I was 5. At the end of our tour we were each given a Nutty Buddy. About 20 minutes later I became violently ill. Peanuts and waffle cone went everywhere! Never again Nutty Buddy, never again.
