10 Things to do in Tulsa during Labor Day Weekend
(A buddy of mine in OKC started a blog called The Best of Worst of OKC. Not sure what to do on Labor Day Weekend, he asked me if there was anything to do Tulsa. Several ideas came to mind. I compiled a list, but may have missed a few activities. If you can think of any others, send him a comment.)

Labor Day is the holiday where we celebrate the American worker by drinking beer, cooking out and vomiting in our lakes. This weekend is the symbolic last fling of summer. Unfortunately, many of you will miss the traditional activities. You either have family obligations, or you’ve finally realized you’re unhip and invisible to anyone in their 20’s. If you need that weekend getaway, but have nowhere to go in OKC, here are ten things to do Tulsa.
10. Donate at Tulsa Fertility Clinic

Jump over to Tulsa Fertility Clinic for their annual Labor Day Thrust-a-Thon. It’s similar to what the Red Cross does, only they’re not taking blood. What makes Tulsa Fertility Clinic unique is that it was once a Luby’s, so stay away from the gravy. P.S. I made up Thrust-a-Thon, but it is a former Luby’s.
9. Stand in the Center of the Universe

Of all the places to find the Center of the Universe, who knew it’d be Tulsa. When you stand in the center of this square, the acoustics sound as if you’re inside a cup. If you stand too long, the giant fly swatter in the picture will kill you.
