Girl Meets Vampire, Girl Gets Bitten!

Halloween is probably my favorite holiday. It could be because I grew up in a family that bonded together over a good horror movie. Maybe it is because Halloween was also a big holiday in my house growing up.
I thought today I would share a little something about myself that only people close to me know. I am an artist and I have always dreamed of one day writing and drawing my very own comic book. Below is a small excerpt from a story that I have written called The Thirst.
Though my body is frail, my heart is strong and my blood stronger. It is difficult to resist the need for sleep or the need for blood. I shut my eyes, and the dreams still haunt me. It seems these nightmares are all I’ve ever known.
As hard as I try I cannot forget my encounter with the dark angel. When I looked into his crimson eyes, was it fear or excitement? When his teeth pierced my skin, was it pleasure or pain? Did I struggle or did I willingly give in?
The one thing I do know is that he lives in my veins, and I now share the same hunger and desire as he. It is as they say, in the blood.
If you would like to see the first three pages of the artwork that accompanies the above script, it’s after the jump.

IT, those are really good.
Victor drew them. He’s very talented.
Thanks for the complement!
You should follow your dream, Victor. Any more pages?
Maybe this should be a weekly strip.
YEAH! what IT said.
I agree.
Maybe I’m over thinking, but maybe he should get it copyrighted before someone steals his work, if he does it weekly.
AGREE
Vic; stick with your dreams. I’m impressed.
Lady vampires sleep sexy. Who knew? Nice work!
