Mattatarian’s Food Offering of the Week (Year-End Wrap Up Edition)
December 29, 2009
Mattatarian’s Food Offering of the Week started as a peace offering to a Lost Ogle reader. A reader that wasn’t too kind about my Tulsa Tuesday column. As a peace offering, I featured virtual treats from QuikTrip for him to enjoy. Eighteen months later, I’m still sampling their food, but now it’s for you. I’m not sure whatever happened to Mattatarian.

I never left, I’ve just been lurking in the shadows. Thank you for posting all the wonderful treats from one of the redeemimg landmarks in Tulsa, QuikTrip. I’ve learned to quell my dislike of Tulsa through your hunger inducing posts. Thank you, my friend.
May your radio never play Toby Keith and may the blessings of Travis Meyer’s mustache forever shine upon you,
Mattatarian
I take it back. He’s still here. Hiding, but still here.
My New Year’s wish for you is just the opposite its that your radio ALWAYS plays Toby Keith songs and somehow your ipod does too.
What is a peatunkey? I’ll go back and look for it.
A DJ at a Tulsa radio station, KBEZ, likes to eat peanut butter, tuna and turkey sandwiches. He invented the sandwich, I named it. I tried it as a post. It was gross.
Thank you for telling me that! I watched the video and they said it was great. It sounded gross to me…appropriately named though. If I ever need a huge serving of protein I’ll think of it and look for something else.
Mmm. Chicken bacon cheese biscuits.
I LOVE Mattatarian’s Food Offering of the Week! Post more, post more.
I’ve slacked a bit, but I’ll bring it back by popular demand.http://irritatedtulsan.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php#comments-form
