One-Stop Death Shop
One wheelchair to move your loved-ones three times is all you need at the One-Stop Death Shop.
What a better to let someone know that you care by easing the stress of corpse transfer.
Memorial Park Cemetery is on the corner of 51st and Memorial. To the south of the cemetery is a Woodland Park Nursing Home. To the west is Moore Funeral Home.
Drop off the pre-rigor mortis individual at the nursing home. Once death occurs, roll the wheelchair around the corner to Moore’s. Don’t forget the body. Wash, rinse and repeat if necessary.
No one likes a flaky corpse.
Finally, let Moore push the wheelchair and dump the body into one of Memorial Park’s many holes.
It’s like a Walmart End-of-Life Supercenter, minus the rollback because when you push that wheelchair, you only want to roll forward.

Gosh, I’ve often thought that was all a little too weird.
It is creepy that they’re so close together.
Another creepy thing is this blog post… I don’t really get it. I know they’re close together but is that really irritating?
No, just humorous, random and ridiculous.
can’t argue with that. I guess I’m not used to dead people humor either.
@twyler – When I noticed these three places together, my sarcastic thought was “Oh, that’s reassuring. A cemetery next to a nursing home.” This post came from the idea that families may drop their elderly at this home since it’s so close the funeral home and cemetery. Creepy.
A whole new meaning to the words….”stop, drop, and roll” I guess.
That would be a perfect slogan for a cemetery.
And let’s not forget that there is a CHOICE of funeral homes- Ninde is right next door to Woodland Park NH! I wonder if there’s ever any price wars between them and Moores………
Lol… yes… I chuckle every time I go by there…they even have a little sidewalk ramp between their parking lots…either for the procession that shuffles back and forth between the two … or just so its easier to roll the gurney… not sure
So I can see into my future.
After the Memorial Cemetery/Woodland Park/Moore’s giftcard I bought you, I’m surprised you didn’t catch on sooner.
They may be close together but they don’t go from the nursing home straight to the funeral home. They go to the ME’s office then the funeral home. It’s just a coincidence that they are so close.
People are not buried here with their organs in them. They go into a trash bag.
